CHEROKEE — Before a big weekend in Sioux City, Spencer took part in a coed track and field event hosted by Cherokee Thursday night. The Tigers amassed 114 points to edge West Lyon for the team crown by eight points in boys competition; and the two teams switched rolls in the girls race. The Wildcats got the win in a hotly contested girls race, followed by Spencer.
