SPENCER—The Spencer Retail Kickstarter Committee announced assistance to ALJ & Co., LLC with a loan for the acquisition and business retention of Carroll’s Bakery.

“Having been born and raised in Spencer, both myself and my wife, Megan, grew up with Carroll’s and have many memories of the bakery,” Zach Stuckey said. “It just felt right to try to keep the bakery open and running in the community.
