Dale Tripp

Funeral services for Dale Robert Tripp, 72, of Everly, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 28. Two visitations will occur one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will occur at a later date. Eeten passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Spencer Hospital.
Dale, the son of Alvie and Irene (Hessenius) Tripp, was born July 11, 1952, in Emmetsburg. His childhood years were spent in the Webb area, where he went to grade school and attended South Clay High School. He then went to mechanical school in Sheldon.
Dale owned and operated Dale’s Repair in Everly and managed hog buildings until his retirement in 2022. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, four-wheeling, gardening and especially spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Allan, Albert and Alvin Tripp; one sister, Arlene Webster; two nieces, Jennifer Webster and Dawn Tripp; and one nephew, John Tripp.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta McEwen of Everly; one son, Matthew McEwen of Everly; one brother, Arnold Tripp of Albert Lee, Minnesota; one sister, Ilene (Darrell) Birchard of Dayton, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
