CHEROKEE — All of the scoring by Sioux Central occurred in the second quarter, unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Cherokee added 10 at home in the final half to blow open a one score halftime lead, turning into a 31-12 win.

Jaxon Paulsrud scored three times on runs of 5, 83 and 17 to out-dueled Rebel quarterback Owen Mills who finished with a 39-yard touchdown and a 98-yard kickoff return.
