SIOUX CENTER ― Both Spencer girls and boys qualified individuals and relay events for the state track and field meet at Drake University in Des Moines which gets underway later this week.

Tiger girls coach Drew Schiltz touted his team’s third place finish in tough circumstances in Sioux Center, Thursday.

“Despite a windy night that affected times across the state, our girls delivered an outstanding performance against some of the state's best competition,” he said.
