SPENCER — Closing out the regular season at home, the Tigers swept Storm Lake and fell in a close battle with Spirit Lake-Okoboji last week. The battle with the Indians wound up 5-4 in the visitor’s favor.

Bob Schlaeger, Spencer tennis coach, called it a “strong showing.”

“We are getting there,” Schlaeger added.
