Wildcats add 14 in fourth, win against Tigers

SPENCER ― Two scores in the fourth quarter helped Humboldt stifle any hope of a Spencer comeback Friday night at Dale Norton Field as the Tigers opened the season at home with a 27-10 loss. The game was closer than it appeared as the hometown boys trailed just 13-10 at half before a missed scoring opportunity resulted in two unanswered touchdowns by the No. 7-ranked 3A Wildcats.
