Calvin Richard Seibert was born to Nicole and John Siebert, of Spencer, on Feb. 10, 2022, at Spencer Hospital. The baby boy weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces at birth. Grandparents are: Kevin and Jennie Staples, of Spencer; and Richard and Liz Seibert, of Waukon.

A celebration of life service for Mary K. Edmondson, 73, of Spencer, will be announced at a later date. Edmondson passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Northshire Residence in Spencer. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Dale W. Anderson, 93, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

**Rutter, Huckfelt earn return to Wells Fargo
FORT DODGE -- Cole Rutter and Logan Huckfelt will return to the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament beginning Thursday at 1:30 p.m. when Class 3A competition gets underway. The two Tigers were the lone members of the Spencer squad to survive a loaded District field.

Addison and Declan Raveling were principals of the day at Sacred Heart. They had a busy day, starting off with greeting students and morning announcements. They were able to order lunch in, and end the day with calling bingo for the whole school. They are pictured with Amanda Woodall, principal at Sacred Heart School.

Private family services for Jo Ann Ullmann, 87, of Spencer, will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. There will be no public visitation. Private burial will be conducted at Riverside Cemetery. Ullmann passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Donna Ibel, 80, of Spencer, will be conducted from 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Spencer. Rev. Curtis Batschelet will officiate the service. Visitation will be conducted one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park prior to the services at the church. A time of lunch and fellowship will be conducted at the church immediately following the services. Ibel passed away Friday, Feb.

Private family services for Gary Hans, 72, of Spencer, will be conducted at a later date. Hans passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at his home in Spencer. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

The Spencer Chamber Ambassadors traveled to Everly Tuesday to visit the Everly Heritage Museum. The museum opened to the public in November, although it is currently open by appointment only. Volunteers, the community and local businesses worked together to create the museum, with exhibits from the Everly school, notable residents and community highlights through the years.

Spencer Rotary Treasurer Bob Rose donated $200 for Family Fest which is held at the Clay County Regional Events Center on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rose presented the contribution to Jason Brockshus.

A funeral for Jack St. Peters, 79, of Spencer, will be conducted from 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Bud Watts will officiate the service. Visitation will be conducted one hour prior to the service. Military services will be conducted immediately following the service at the funeral home.
