SPENCER — With nearly 30 minutes to play in Monday’s Class 3A Substate 1 Semifinal, a severe storm raged through the skies of Spencer, delayed the game as a matter safety. The game clock never restarted, ending the No. 8-ranked Spencer Tigers’ season with a 2-1 loss to Le Mars approximately 10 minutes into the second half.
