A team from Catholic Charities visited the Grand Avenue Community Outreach and spent almost two hours working on various service projects alongside GACO’s local volunteer workforce. Other Catholic Charities members headed to Upper Des Moines to help with a backpack packing project during this same time. Time at GACO was spent primarily with His Hands Extended volunteers on our second floor stocking shelves of various non-perishable food items.
