The Spencer Chamber of Commerce wrapped up its 2024 fiscal year in fine fashion on Oct. 3 at the Great Hall of Royal.

A veritable who's who of Spencer and Clay County business luminaries attended the chamber’s annual meeting that night, reflecting on what had been a challenging year following the catastrophic June 22 flood. Outgoing board president Chris Self took the opportunity to express his pride in how the chamber has contributed to flood recovery efforts.
