TJ Murphy walked through the doors at the Spencer Reporter office Monday morning a bit wealthier than when he left last week Monday to head to Las Vegas.
Celebrating his birthday week doing what he loves, playing poker, Murphy returned from the tables $368,977 richer after winning Event No. 17 $800 No-Limit Hold'em DeepStack, earning his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Not a bad Vegas souvenir or birthday gift.
