Gary Holck is not your average home gardener.

There are rows of everything sweet and popcorn to squash and tomatoes in the retiree’s garden plot just south of St. Luke’s in Spencer. But it's not the size and diversity of Holck’s garden that sets him apart; it’s how the produce is used.

“What’s most fun is that we’re pretty much donating everything to a good cause,” Holck said.
