After months of planning and research, Spencer Hospital is moving ahead with its plan to construct a new emergency department facility. During a special meeting on Thursday, the hospital board of trustees gave the go-ahead to proceed with the project and awarded the project’s bid to L&L Builders with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2024.
