SHELDON — Iowa community colleges are offering free tuition. It is absolutely true. It is made possible through a state of Iowa program called Future Ready Iowa — the Iowa Last-Dollar Scholarship. Future Ready Iowa is a workforce initiative that started in 2019 that connects Iowans to the training and education required for high-paying jobs and careers that improve Iowans lives.
