MILFORD — A Thursday morning home blaze, in Milford, claimed the life of a single, unidentified female according to information released by Milford Fire Chief Jim Carpenter.

At 7:23 p.m., Milford responders were paged to 1007 L Ave., following the report of a house on fire. A neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the residence. The Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire Department was requested for support immediately.
