New hope for SAAC

Thursday, a group of individuals wishing to see the Spencer Area Activity Center remain open, despite previous plans to close its doors, presented an updated business plan for the center’s future to SAAC’s board to the existing board. During the meeting, which filled the SAAC dining room, Board President Scott Ten Kley and several board members submitted their resignations to make way for a new board made of members of the committee behind the proposal.
