A slump in exports, inflation slowing Iowa economy, new report finds

Iowa’s manufacturing exports were down again, and prices were up as 2024 came to an end.

According to the latest Mid-America Business Conditions Index, the state’s manufacturers saw a $1.4 billion or 9.9% decline in exports compared to 2023.
