Spencer Reads heads to nature

The Spencer Reads initiative has teamed up with the Clay County Conservation for a series of Nature Reads events this summer. The partnership brings students to natural areas in the county to read before participating in some outdoor activities. On Thursday morning, students traveled to the Stub Johnson Family Equestrian Area to read with their friends. Afterward, the students were led on a hike, using butterflies nets to find insects and other critters.
