Funeral services for Ruth Thurston, 96, of Spencer, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at Warner Chapel, in Spencer. Rev. Sharon “Shazzy” Britz will officiate the service. Visitation will be open after 2-7 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemeter in Spencer. Thurston passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
