Funeral services for Kenneth “Kenny” Dale Dubois, 79, of Spencer, will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Followed by lunch at the church. Rev. Tim Hogan will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, with the family present. A vigil service will begin at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, in Warner Chapel in Spencer. Interment will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids, at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Virginia “Ginny” Rae Hunter, 78, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on Nov. 2, 2022, at Highgate Senior Living under the care of Benefis Hospice. She died of leukemia.

Jack Donald Sylvester, 84, of Webb, died peacefully on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. at the Accura Health Care Center in Spirit Lake. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Memorial services will take place Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb. Following the service, a private family burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, from 3-5 p.m., at the church.

Donald “Pete” Peters was born in 1929 to Ray and Ruth Peters, growing up steeped in Midwestern values in Marcus. An avid athlete, he excelled in four high school varsity sports. Upon leaving high school, a serious motorcycle accident denied Don from serving in the U.S. Air Force and delayed his college graduation in 1952. Undeterred, Don worked his way through the University of Northern Iowa with graduate studies at the University of Iowa.

Ethel Wilson, 92, of Milford, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at her home in Milford.

Funeral services for Beulah Jane Umscheid will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Tonna Parsons will officiate the service. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Greenville at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, 2022.

Jeanne Rae Reimers, 83, of Cromwell Connecticut, passed on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022. Jeanne was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in Spencer the daughter of Lloyd and Loretta Iverson.

Jeanne loved spending time with her family and her fur babies, reading, playing cards, being by the ocean and enjoying lobster rolls.

She is survived by Rich Reimers; her four children: Cheri, Laura, Mark and John; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sibling, Tom Iverson.
