Walking across the stage Sunday and collecting his diploma from Spencer Community Schools Superintendent Terry Hemann, graduate Abraham Arceo - or Abe - will be one member of the 160-students in the 2023-24 class at Spencer. He will join a very long list of SHS grads dating back generations.

But, the one distinguishing fact Arceo will always be able to lay claim to, he is the first to ever graduate from Spencer having achieved the Seal of Biliteracy.
