ORANGE CITY — Spencer finished behind host MOC-Floyd Valley at the Class 3A Sectional Meet, Monday, played at Landsmeer Golf and Country Club in Orange City. The effort, in less than ideal conditions, earned the team a trip to the state tournament.

The Tigers finished 18 strokes back of the champion Dutchmen and just four strokes ahead of third place Webster City.
