DICKENS — In 2018, an organization called RodeoKids was founded, the goal and purpose of the group is to keep the customs western culture and lifestyle alive throughout the youth. They also look to help build skills, knowledge and abilities for kids outside of the arena. Local cowboy Conner Essick, of Dickens, was just selected to be a member of RodeoKids.
