FORT DODGE — While Spencer’s team tennis season may have ended Wednesday at Fort Dodge, Tigers Kennedy Graettinger and Brynn Merchant will keep playing when they compete in doubles action after moving on from the individual tournament.

In a battle of Lakes Conference opponents, last year’s No. 3 state finisher and top 10-ranked Spencer, 16-5-1, fell to 17-8-0 Spirit Lake-Okoboji in eight games. The regional competition was held on the Fort Dodge courts.
