Lakers win home opener 5-0

SPENCER — Iowa Lakes celebrated their first home game of the season with a 5-0 win over Central Community College-Columbus on Saturday. Iowa Lakes opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Tatsuki Kobayashi got the ball to Henry Tolbert to put in the back of the net. Lewis Nohar scored the next goal, thanks to a easy tap in, set up by Lewis Duncan in the 26th minute of the match. The Lakers took a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
