SPENCER — After the singles match between No. 1’s, Abbey Crew, of Spencer, and Megan Laursen, of Estherville Lincoln Central, which proved very competitive, the Tigers cruised to four straight wins — ending the Class 1A, Region 1B contest early Friday. Spencer won five straight matches at home to stop the match, 5-0. The Tigers advanced to the next round in against Spirit Lake-Okoboji, Tuesday at 9 a.m., on the courts in Fort Dodge.
