Shutout: Spencer boys hold ELC scoreless in sweep

ESTHERVILLE — Everybody was forced to adjust, creating a need for extra points in the top singles competition, and a battle in No. 2 doubles, but Spencer’s boys got victory via sweep at Estherville, Friday.

Joe Steele, Spencer coach, said. “We were a little shorthanded today and had to slide most of the guys up the lineup. This can present some challenges because the level of play is obviously improved when anyone moves up a slot in singles.
