ALTA — Owning the bookend quarters was the difference as Sioux Central ran away from their hosts, Alta-Aurelia, 69-36, Tuesday night. The visitors put up 17 in the first and 20 in the final period to outscore the Warriors.
“After having some slow starts the last two games out, our focus was starting strong and setting the tone, and we did that nicely with our defensive intensity and scoring the first 17 points,” said Stephen Tjaden, Rebel boys coach.
