SIOUX CITY — Sioux City West almost doubled up on Spencer, Thursday night at home, earning a nondistrict win, 69-35.

Matt Stevenson, Spencer coach, said, “… We were really bothered by their defensive pressure and physicality. I felt like we did some good things offensively early in the first quarter and second half, but we really struggled in the second quarter.

He continued, “We gave them too many second chances on offensive rebounds, and they took full advantage of it.”
