SIOUX CITY — Spencer boys basketball team earned its 11th win of the year, downing Sioux City West on the Wolverine’s home floor, 55-43, Thursday.

“We were able to jump out quick against a West team that had really been starting fast the last few games,” said Kory Petzenhauser, boys head coach. “Defensively, we were able to hold them scoreless for nearly the entire first quarter, and that allowed us to build a nice lead heading into halftime.”
