NEWELL — It hasn’t been the best of seasons so far for the Spencer Tigers in volleyball, currently sitting at a 5-13 record heading into Tuesday. They went on the road to face the 14-3 Newell-Fonda Mustangs.

The first match was a battle, with the Mustangs edging out the Tigers 25-22. It wouldn’t get any closer, as Newell-Fonda dominated the next two sets, 25-10 and 25-8.
