The Spencer Tigers won a pair of three-set matches to highlight a season-opening night of the volleyball season at the Spencer Field House Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The Tigers hosted six teams and each of the squads played three matches. Algona won all three of its matches, while the Tigers and Okoboji each went 2-1. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn and Manson-Northwest Webster went 1-2 and South O’Brien was 0-3.
