ALGONA ― Tuesday, Spencer’s girls traveled to Algona’s Spring Valley Golf Course where a fifth-score tiebreaker against host Bishop Garrigan gave the Tigers the win in a 205-205 tie.

Nate Wendt’s girls were led by medalist runner-up Morgan Irvine’s 45 to open her sophomore campaign. She finished two strokes behind Hannah Merron, who shot a 43 for Bishop Garrigan.
