Two second-half goals lead to loss

HULL — No. 3 Western Christian put the first blemish on No. 8 Spencer’s perfect season, defeating the Tigers 3-1, powered by two second half unanswered goals, Thursday, on the Wolfpack’s home field.

The victory also snapped Spencer’s three-game win streak over WC.

“It was a roller coaster of a game for us,” Tiger coach Jesse Kuehler said. “We had some very good moments in the match, we moved the ball quickly and put ourselves in dangerous spots. …”
